Recently my quilting focus has shifted from designing patterns and making my own quilts to quilting the beautiful quilts of others. It is very rewarding to help others complete their creative vision.

This is one of my favorite “all over” quilting motifs. On this quilt it looks like ocean waves. The same pattern can also represent flames, wind and even wood grain. Talk about your versatile quilting.

My “go to” Halloween quilting motif is a fun spider web loo. It is spectacular when quilted within star blocks…the web really shines. Here it was quilted as an all over, giving more of a cobweb feel.

Here’s an example of the basic “wave” passing itself off as wood grain.

This T-Shirt quilt was only the second t-shirt quilt I have ever quilted. It was quilted of a good college friend to present to her daughter who began her own college career at our shared Alma Mater…Brigham Young University…Go Cougs!!

Star Wars and Christmas came together nicely in this tree skirt. It was part of a display at the local Festival of Trees that benefited the local Primary Children’s Hospital. The finished tree was truly an homage to a galaxy far, far away.

Love is all around and beautiful with this echoed-heart quilting motif. A great easy and forgiving motif for a beginning quilter.

Long live the Layton Lancers. This quilt celebrated a daughter’s graduation from high school. The mom had to piece it in secret in order to pull off the surprise…and I believe she succeeded. I’m sure this pattern might find its way into other lucky alums of Layton High School…including my own children in a few more years.

Every once in a while a customer will bring by a quilt that needs something a bit more custom than an all over. I love that my customer’s trust me enough to lend my creativity to their beautiful creations.

Modern quilts, need modern quilting. Quilts that are going to be used and loved need an open quilting as to keep them comfy and snuggly. Intersecting lines throughout the center of this quilt, accented by the diagonals in the border really finished this quilt nicely.
This is just a sampling of the quilts that have been entrusted to my quilting. If you ever find yourself needing some assistance in finishing your quilts, please feel free to contact me for a quote.
