Join the Fun by Clicking the Logo

Last fall, I was invited by Cheryl Brown (quilterchic.com) to join with other Utah-based designers to participate in creating a Quilt-Along for our followers.

Cheryl is an amazing quilter, whom I met during my days as a quilt shop owner.  She was a fantastic employee who always had “Fresh and Fabulous” ideas.  She is an accomplished long arm quilter and pattern designer.  She has published two books with Martingale Books and many other patterns on her own.

My contribution to this project will debut mid-February, so be sure to check it out and quilt along with us as we discover the quilting talent “In My Neighborhood”.

Learning to Blog…I’d rather be quilting

The time has come for me to stretch myself a bit, so I’m going to give blogging a try.

I love quilting.  Whether piecing a quilting for myself or to give away, or helping someone else by quilting their masterpiece, I love quilting.  Teaching is my second love.  So when I get to help someone learn to quilt  and instill in them a love of quilting, it reminds me of one very important truth…I LOVE QUILTING!!

I hope that this blog will reinforce that love of quilting and instill it in those that read and enjoy it.
